Applied Drama: Literacy for EAL Students

In response to a brief from a local "restorative practice school" Rebecca and her fellow MA Theatre-Making students at the University of Hull designed and facilitated a series of workshops based around Lemony Snickett's Series of Unfortunate Events. Some of the year 4, Key Stage 2, students were EAL, meaning they spoke English as an additional language, and our workshops ensured that these students never felt as if they were at any disadvantage to the rest of the class.
