The Siren: Feature
Composed by PHD student Sandy Clark, The Siren follows the folkloric tale of a Miller's son who was captured by a mysterious water fairy.

The opera was performed in various episodes, some live which were performed across the city of Hull, and some recorded, and broadcast to multimedia sites in the form of videos or video games. The link to the official website where all episodes and more information about the project can be accessed is above.
Rebecca performed the role of "Freida", the miller's wife, the voice of reason and wisdom in the story. This role challenged Rebecca's vocal ability and allowed her to develop her vocal training by learning a new skill in operatic singing.
